Paint with sunlight! Bounce a sunbeam off a mirror, through a color wheel and into glass gems that scatter it into rainbow snowflakes, hearts, spirals and starbursts. A prism fans it into a whole rainbow and a dichroic cube splits it into big blocks of color.
